The Snug
Welcome to The Snug Microbar! Begun in June 2021, The Snug has become a place to enjoy the company of others, the delight of sipping on local ales, lagers, wines and spirits and nibbling on delicious delicacies whilst chatting.
Friendships are born in The Snug and cares are left at the door to pick up on your way out.Tucked away at the rear of Rassasy’s Farm shop and Deli. Like Tuscany in West Sussex, The Snug, just like our farm shop, has that continental feel with seating outside to catch the sun rays late into the summer evenings and a cosy, warm and comfortable bar within to converse throughout the year.
Focusing primarily on local and organic beverages, The Snug has ales from Hepworth and Goldmark The Hand Brew Co breweries and a guest ale of Mike’s choosing. For those searching for another local delight, The Snug has Southdown spirits, Ditchling gin and vodka, Horsham’s Cabin Fever gins and liqueurs, Ripping Yarn rums, English vodka and moonshine alongside local wines.
Being partnered with a farm shop & deli, The Snug has a glut of quality, organic and local produce to build delicious dishes for you to enjoy. Our deli boards and cheese platters are testimony to the quality of the farm shop.

Throughout 2022, The Snug built a great relationship with the musicians we have had playing, Charisse, Terry Carvey, Lee Pryor, Marie Dance from The Purple Shoes Maria Henderson, 2023 has taken it to another level. We are proud to have built on our relationship with musicians and we can boast having Jamie B as our resident musician playing every month for the rest of the year. Dan Powell, Jack Boyd, Joel Peter, Aurora, Iron Tyger, Kit Bradshaw, The Caws Brothers, Lee Pryor, Marie Dance, Carl Xevier Bashford, Will Tierney. In fact, we’re booked up to New Year’s Eve where Joel Peter will be driving you to celebrate the New Year with joy and happiness.
