Welcome Weekend
15TH & 16TH OCTOBER 2022

The Snug

Welcome to The Snug! Begun in June 2021, The Snug has become a place to enjoy the company of others, the delight of sipping on local ales, lagers, wines and spirits and nibbling on delicious delicacies whilst chatting.

We can honestly say that friendships have been born in The Snug and that cares will be left at the door to pick up on your way out. The Snug is tucked away at the back of Rassasy’s farm shop and deli with seating for 45 patrons. However, in preparation for the sun, The Snug has now extended to the outside area where the sun can be caught until late into the evening, where your gaze can rest on the village green and the beautiful trees that hang over the luscious green grass. Focusing primarily on local beverages, The Snug has ales from Greyhound, Hepworth and Goldmark breweries. The Liquid Gold, Charger and Crazy Horse are all strong favourite ales, and the full range of Greyhound ales can be found in bottles to sample. For those searching for another local delight, The Snug has Southdown spirits and Ditchling gin and vodka to enjoy and will soon be joined by the Horsham Gin Company, alongside local and organic wines. Being a deli, The Snug offers a range of mixed platters and cheese boards alongside many delicious nibbles.

The Snug

Welcome to The Snug! Begun in June 2021, The Snug has become a place to enjoy the company of others, the delight of sipping on local ales, lagers, wines and spirits and nibbling on delicious delicacies whilst chatting.

Friendships are born in The Snug and cares are left at the door to pick up on your way out of our micro bar, tucked away at the rear of Rassasy’s Farm shop and Deli. Like Tuscany in West Sussex, the Snug, just like our farm shop, has that continental feel with seating outside to catch the sun rays late into the summer evenings and a cosy, warm and comfortable bar within to converse throughout the year.

Focusing primarily on local and organic beverages, The Snug has ales from Greyhound, Hepworth and Goldmark breweries and a guest ale of Mike’s choosing. For those searching for another local delight, The Snug has Southdown spirits, Ditchling gin and vodka, Horsham’s Cabin Fever gins and liqueurs alongside local and organic wines.

Being partnered with a farm shop &deli, The Snug has a glut of quality organic and local produce to build delicious dishes for you to enjoy. Our deli boards and cheese platters are testimony to the quality of the farm shop. Throughout 2023 we will be celebrating the cuisine of the world using the produce that the farm shop sells, so keep an eye on our What’s On board for the up and coming events.

Music @ The Snug
Throughout 2022, The Snug has built a great relationship with the musicians we have had playing, such as Sam Flynn, Charisse, Terry Carvey, Lee Pryor, Marie Dance from The Purple Shoes Maria Henderson, and we look forward to building our repertoire during 2023. Acts have been booked until the end of spring with amazing acts to tantalise your evenings – all events start at 7pm.

Meet The Team

Alex O’Donnell and Kerry Knight have joined our team in The Snug, and what a contribution they are making already! We are so excited for the future with these two at the helm. The ideas and energy they both have is enlightening, so come down and meet them to see what they are up to.
